Plane Strain Analysis of Pipe with Internal Pressure

Problem:

A cylinder of internal diameter φ200 mm and external diameter φ300 mm is subjected to internal pressure of intensity 10 MPa. Determine radial and circumferential stress in the cylinder using 2D plane strain quarter model.

The model is prepared and FE analysis is performed in SCIFESOL.
