FINITE ELEMENT SOLVER IN SCILAB
SCIFESOL is a finite element solver , programmed in Scilab for solving linear static and dynamic structural problems.

It is a toolbox with an easy to use GUI for pre and post processing activities.

It can run in both GUI and scripting mode.

It can import mesh from GMSH meshing software.

FEM scripts and functions implemented in SCIFESOL can be easily incorporated in custom designs.

It can be used as a research and learning tool for students and professionals.

It can be used to develop custom design workflows where the design is controlled by Design-By-Formula approach and then validated through FEA using the functions in SCIFESOL.
SCIFESOL is developed in Scilab which is a free open source alternative to Matlab. It is a numerical computing system with many elementary and advanced mathematical functions and 2-D ,3-D graphical functions for plotting data and many more , which are useful in scientific computing and analysis.

Equilibrium equation solvers for solving finite element system equations are implemented within SCIFESOL.
